How it works in the Sant Josep municipality

Sant Josep de sa Talaia is the island's largest municipality and the one furthest from the ITV: no station lies within its boundaries. That is exactly why the service makes more sense here than anywhere else. We collect in Sant Josep village and Sant Agustí, in the villas of Es Cubells, Cala Vadella, Cala Carbó and Cala Tarida, in Sant Jordi and Sant Francesc, in Platja d'en Bossa and in Cala de Bou and Port des Torrent, drive the car to the station you have been assigned and bring it back to your door with the report.

For Sant Jordi, Platja d'en Bossa and Sant Francesc, the mobile unit at Ibiza's Recinto Ferial is ten minutes away and the handiest option when a slot is available; for everyone else the usual destination is the fixed station in Santa Gertrudis. If you manage several villas in Es Cubells or Cala Vadella, we can chain two cars in the same morning and adjust the price.

Drive time from Sant Josep to the ITV

From Sant Josep village to Santa Gertrudis allow 30 minutes via Sant Rafel. From Es Cubells, Cala Vadella or Cala Tarida it is 35–40 minutes; from Cala de Bou and Port des Torrent about 30 along the Sant Antoni road; from Sant Jordi and Platja d'en Bossa 20–25 to Santa Gertrudis or 10 to the Recinto Ferial. In July and August the airport road and the approach to Ibiza easily add 15 minutes between 9 and 12.

With those distances the car is typically away for three to four hours. If you get to choose, aim for mid-morning or early afternoon: 8:00 slots mean a very early pick-up and the last slots of the day stretch if the station is running late.

What we need from you

The appointment (station, date and time), the registration document, technical card and valid insurance inside the car, and the keys. In the Es Cubells and Cala Vadella urbanisations we arrange collection with the villa manager, the security service or a key box, and for fincas down a dirt track we ask for the exact pin on WhatsApp. If the car belongs to a non-resident owner we need their signed authorisation.

Price: €89–129 VAT included

The range is €89 to €129 including VAT, not counting the ITV fee (€28 for cars, paid at booking since August 2026). In Sant Josep distance sets the price more than anything: Sant Jordi, Sant Francesc and Platja d'en Bossa with a mid-day slot — better still at the Recinto Ferial — are €89. Sant Josep village, Sant Agustí, Cala de Bou and Port des Torrent come in at €109, and Es Cubells, Cala Vadella, Cala Carbó and Cala Tarida at €129, as does any slot before 8:30 or a long wait at the station. We confirm the amount on WhatsApp before setting off.

If the inspection comes back unfavourable

You have two months to fix the defects and return; do it within seven working days with minor defects and there is no new fee. We can leave the car at your garage in Sant Jordi, Sant Josep or the Can Bufí estate as a driver service (€40–60/h, two-hour minimum) and repeat the collection for the second inspection at the same per-trip price.
