The island's biggest municipality, villa by villa
Sant Josep de sa Talaia covers the whole south-west of Ibiza: the village under Sa Talaia, Sant Jordi and Sant Agustí, Es Cubells and Cala Jondal, the western coves (Cala Vadella, Cala Tarida, Cala Carbó, Cala d'Hort), Cala de Bou and Port des Torrent across the bay from Sant Antoni, the southern half of Platja d'en Bossa, Ses Salines and the airport itself. It is the municipality of named villas, beach clubs and yachts anchored off Cala Jondal and Porroig, so courier work here is mostly seasonal logistics: what is missing at a villa on arrival day, what got left behind on departure day.
What we are asked for most: keys and gate remotes for guests and cleaning teams in Es Cubells or Cala Vadella; the passport or wallet forgotten at the villa that has to reach the departures hall before boarding; villa paperwork (contracts, licences) to the gestoría in Ibiza Town or to Sant Josep town hall; chargers, sunglasses and wash bags between beach clubs, Platja d'en Bossa hotels and boats; pool, air-conditioning or home-automation parts for the technician already on site; and medication from the pharmacy in Sant Josep, Sant Jordi or Cala de Bou when nobody can get out.
Correos and the parcels that never reach the villa
The municipality's Correos office is in the centre of Sant Josep village. At a villa with no visible letterbox or a closed gate, a SEUR or MRW parcel almost always ends up back at the depot in Ibiza Town (SEUR at Carrer del Voluntariat 4; MRW at Carrer del Músic Fermí Marí 17-21). Send us the notice, the exact name on the shipment and your signed authorisation, and we collect it and bring it to the villa the same day, leaving it where you tell us with a photo of the handover.
Transit times from Sant Josep
The airport is inside the municipality: 10–15 minutes from Sant Josep village or Sant Jordi, 15 from Es Cubells and Cala Jondal, 20–25 from Cala Vadella and Cala Tarida, 25 from Cala de Bou. To Ibiza Town: 15–20 minutes from the village, 10 from Platja d'en Bossa, 25–30 from the western coves. To Sant Antoni: 15 minutes from Sant Josep on the Sant Antoni road, 5 from Cala de Bou. To Santa Eulària, 30–35 minutes; to Sant Joan, about 45.
Summer: Ses Salines, Platja d'en Bossa and changeover days
From June to September the Ses Salines road and the approach to Platja d'en Bossa lock up between 12:00 and 14:00 and again from 18:00 to 20:00; for those areas we ask for a 20-minute margin. Saturdays and Sundays are villa changeover days and the lanes of Es Cubells and Cala Jondal fill with cleaning, flower and catering vans: if your delivery is the key for a guest landing at 16:00, give us the flight and we time it to the real arrival. On the west coast, sunset at Cala d'Hort and Cala Comte adds another 10–15 minutes between 19:00 and 21:00.

For a villa, what saves time is: villa or urbanisation name, a pinned location, how the gate opens (code, remote, key box) and who is expecting us. For the airport: flight number, boarding time and your phone so we can find you in the terminal. For a boat: name, where it is anchored and the skipper's or tender's number. I left my passport at the villa and I am already at the airport. What do you do?
Send us the villa location, how to get in (or the owner's or agency's contact) and your boarding time. From Es Cubells or Cala Jondal we are at the terminal about 15 minutes after collecting and hand it to you in person in departures. The sooner you write, the more margin we have.
Do you deliver to yachts anchored off Cala Jondal or Porroig?
Yes, to whatever boarding point you give us: a beach club pontoon, the slipway or a tender that comes to collect. We need the boat name and the skipper's phone to agree the time.
Are Cala Vadella, Cala Tarida and Cala de Bou the same price?
Yes, the whole municipality is covered by the from-€35 price. What changes is the time: from the western coves to Ibiza Town is 25–30 minutes, and a bit more at sunset in summer.
Can you collect SEUR or MRW parcels that never made it to the villa?
Yes. Both depots are in Ibiza Town; with your notice, the exact name on the shipment and a signed authorisation we collect them and bring them to the villa the same day, with a photo when we drop them.
Can you take documents to Sant Josep town hall or to the gestoría in Ibiza?
Yes. Tell us what it is, whether it goes in a sealed envelope and who receives it or which registry desk it goes to. If you need a stamped receipt, we photograph it and bring it back on the same trip if you ask.
