Eivissa holds what the rest of Ibiza drives in for: gestorías and notaries around Avinguda d'Espanya, Isidor Macabich and Vara de Rey; the Land Registry and the courts; Can Misses hospital; the courier depots; the yachts in Marina Ibiza, Marina Botafoc and Ibiza Magna; and hotels from Figueretes round to Talamanca. Most of our routes start or finish here, which is why the town gets a page of its own: the problems are different from a villa in the countryside.

What we move most within the town: documents between offices, gestoría to notary and notary to registry, with the receipt photographed; envelopes and contracts from hotels to agencies; keys to apartments in La Marina and Dalt Vila for guests arriving by ferry or in the small hours; forgotten items leaving a hotel in Figueretes or Platja d'en Bossa for the airport; parts and spares from the Can Bufí and Blanca Dona industrial estates to workshops and building sites; medication from the hospital or the duty pharmacy to someone's door; and last-minute provisions, spares or paperwork to boats on the Botafoc pontoons.

Correos, SEUR and MRW in Ibiza Town

The main Correos office is at Avinguda d'Isidor Macabich 67 and is the only one on the island with afternoon hours: Monday to Friday 08:30–20:30. SEUR's depot is at Carrer del Voluntariat 4 (weekdays 08:00–20:00 and Saturday mornings) and MRW's at Carrer del Músic Fermí Marí 17-21. If you have a notice from any of the three, we collect with your signed authorisation and the exact name on the shipment and deliver the same day; if several parcels are sitting at different depots, we bundle them into one route.

Times within the town and out of it

Within Eivissa almost everything is 10–15 minutes away: centre to Talamanca or Marina Botafoc, 10; to Figueretes and Platja d'en Bossa, 10; to Can Misses, 10. To the airport, 15 minutes from the centre and 10 from Platja d'en Bossa. To Santa Eulària, 15–20; Sant Antoni, 20–25; Sant Josep, 15–20; Sant Joan, 30–35. Dalt Vila is the exception: vehicle access is restricted, so the delivery is done on foot from the Portal de ses Taules or the Avinguda d'Espanya car park, and you should count 10 minutes more.

Summer in town: the port, the night and Dalt Vila

From June to September, Avinguda 8 d'Agost and Passeig Joan Carles I out to Botafoc grind to a halt between 23:00 and 02:00 on club nights, and the port area closes to traffic around the big events. On cruise days the Botafoc road is slow from 09:00 to 11:00 and again in the early evening. In La Marina and Sa Penya, vehicle access is cut on summer nights, so we deliver on foot from the port car park. And in August, Vara de Rey and the new town have the hardest parking on the island, which is why we prefer mornings for office deliveries.
