Two ways to move your car from Ibiza

Both options start with an agreed collection point and end with a planned handover. Collection in Ibiza Town, Santa Eulària, Sant Josep or elsewhere on the island is assessed from your exact address. A ferry connection is part of the island-to-mainland route; we confirm the sailing and onward arrangements in the quote.

OptionHow it worksWhat to check
On a trailerThe car is carried rather than driven for the agreed transport legs.Loading access, vehicle dimensions, transport cover and any separate driven legs.
With our driverOne of our drivers drives your car on the agreed route.Roadworthiness, insurance acceptance, mileage, fuel and handover.

Option 1: transport on a trailer

This can suit a journey where you want to limit road mileage on your own car. Tell us its dimensions, ground clearance, modifications and whether it starts, steers, brakes and rolls. A non-running car needs an assessment of loading and unloading before a booking can be accepted.

Confirm which parts of the journey are carried, whether collection or delivery involves any driving, and the applicable transport insurance and limits. Trailer transport does not automatically mean an enclosed service, unlimited cover or zero movement of the vehicle.

Option 2: delivery with an Ibizahora driver

A driver takes your own vehicle along the agreed route, including the ferry arrangements. The car must be fit and legally permitted to drive. Before departure, we agree the driver’s authorisation and ask you to confirm that the insurer accepts the driver, the journey and the destination countries.

This option adds road mileage. Agree the route, starting mileage, fuel or charging arrangements, tolls, ferry and the driver’s travel costs. If an inspection or repair is needed first, discuss it before a collection date is confirmed.

Before we collect the vehicle

Prepare the registration document, insurance details, relevant technical inspection documents, keys and agreed written authorisation. The person travelling on the ferry needs the identification required by the operator. Confirm vehicle details and the actual sailing’s instructions before booking.

Remove valuables and discuss any luggage in advance. Photograph the car’s condition, note existing marks, mileage, fuel or charge, and agree the key and document handover. Tell us about alarms, trackers, immobilisers, charging cables and access restrictions.

Mainland Spain or another European country?

Name the exact country and delivery address, not simply “Europe”. Moving a vehicle permanently is different from a temporary trip: registration requirements vary by destination. Check with the destination authorities; non-EU routes may also involve customs formalities.

Our quote covers the agreed transport mission. Registration, import or export work is not included unless expressly agreed. We confirm the proposed route and timing; ferry places, weather and road conditions can affect the plan.

A clear quote before you decide

There is no single flat price for car transport from Ibiza. Send the vehicle details, both addresses, preferred dates, flexibility and your trailer or driver preference. We explain what is included, which third-party costs are separate and the applicable cover.

You have one contact for collection, the crossing and the final handover. Ibizahora helps you organise the journey around your car and your plans.
